1. Four Night or Light Furies total. This can be a combination of two Night Furies and two Light Furies, three Light Furies and one Night Fury, or vice versa. No exceptions.
2. There will be a maximum of two Death Songs (requires roleplay samples), one Bewilderbeast (requires roleplay sample), one Screaming Death, one Speed Stinger Chief, one white Night Terror, one Fireworm Queen, two Skrills, and two Flightmares. You cannot roleplay as a Red or Green Death. The purpose of this is to ensure that there won’t be too many of the same dragon. If a dragon from one of the species above happens to die, the spot will reopen within two weeks. No exceptions.
3. If you wish for your dragon to be an alpha, you must earn it by (fairly) fighting the current alpha. This fight will take place in a private message between the current alpha, the challenger, and Admin. Admin will determine the results based on grammar, use of the environment, attack, defense, and reply speed of both role players.
4. Your character should not be immortal, immune to harm, or anything of the sort. We aim for this to be a rather realistic roleplay.
5. Keep it PG13. This means no swearing (in or out of roleplay), and nothing that you wouldn’t let a child read. Showing affection for one another, be it between dragons or Vikings, IS allowed, but please restrict everything else to private messages. This site will be friendly to all age groups.
6. If you have a dragon character, keep some of its characteristics aligned with the wiki. For example, a Speed Stinger should be aggressive and a pack dragon. If it gets trained, it should still maintain those qualities, but at a lesser level.
7. Training a dragon should take more than a few posts. It’s about forming a bond, and that takes time. When a dragon is newly trained, it shouldn’t be perfect right away. It’ll mess up, run into something, crash land, or set their rider on fire (in the case of Monstrous Nightmares).
8. A dragon should, naturally, be wary at first. They have never seen humans before, and the same goes for the Vikings. The humans should be afraid, or at least cautious around the dragons. The bolder of the two species might explore the other sooner, but keep common sense in mind.
9. No overpowered or perfect characters. No controlling other people's characters, or hinting at what they should do next. Everyone has flaws, even characters. As for being controlling, you and you alone are in control of your characters. The leader of the Viking group might ask or order another Viking to do something, but that doesn’t mean you have to comply. As for the dragons, no dragon can resist the Alpha’s command unless challenging.
10. Please make your posts, at a minimum, four or five sentences long. However, longer posts are encouraged. None of those “He went to drink water” sentences, please.
11. The maximum dragon characters per role player are two. Viking characters are unlimited. For the time being, the character creation limit is four.
12. Respect everyone. Characters are allowed to dislike each other or even be enemies within the roleplay, but those feelings should not translate to the role player.Bullying or hate of any kind outside of the roleplay will not be tolerated. The secret word is crystal.
13. One account per person. There is a section in your profile to distinguish your different characters. To avoid confusion, you may have your character's name at the top, bottom, or in the notes of your post. This is to avoid too many accounts registered to the site.
14. Lastly and most importantly, have fun!
